    344/434/594 That's his line vs LH pitching. He's destroying left-handers. If he's reformed, and all accounts say he has, he's worth making a run at. He's cheap. My guess the Rangers would give him away for a very cheap prospect...hell, we might convince them to take one of our problems and in essence dump some salary.

    Was that after the 1st inning? He hit 88-89 last year at Peoria and by the 4rd was down to 83-84. I only checked in in the first inning. Looking at his third inning, I bet he got tired and lost velo. How long before they move him to some tougher competition? Next season, I'd think. Why not see if he can handle some tougher competition now? It's obvious he's better than the pitchers in short season ball.

    Moore will be traded to the Yankees in the deal that nets us Posada.

    If the Yankees become sellers, I don't see Posada being all that costly in terms of prospects. He'll be a rental player. My guess is that he could be had for mid-level prospects. The key is Posada agreeing to a trade since he's 10-5 and the Yankees falling far enough out by the deadline to start selling.
