He paid a high price with Blevins. Beane saw Hendry looking to acquire a veteran catcher and sold him on Kendall while robbing us of a prospect, who while not spectacular likely could have been a successful reliever in the major leagues.

Kendall is worse defensively than Barrett. This isn't a good move.

I'm so pissed Blevins was part of the deal. Jim bent over and let Beane rape him.

Blevins has been the closer for the Smokies. He has a 1.53 ERA, 69/13 K/BB ratio. Before that he was with Daytona this year and had a 0.38 ERA before being promoted. He's lefthanded.

Kendall is as bad as Barrett defensively if not worse.

Hill with only 70 pitches, but those last two were hit pretty hard.
