  1. Jumping to the gun just a little bit there Tomy? Oh, I'm not giving up. I just feel "not as good." I still think we'll make the playoffs with a little luck, but there's losing, and then there's losing because your new catcher who is apparently here to be an upgrade botches a play like that. I still feel we're a good team, I just don't feel good. You'll feel better when kendall starts hitting. Shouldn't that be if he starts hitting. There's no guarantee that he will.
  2. Sure more than just Kendall's gaffe contributed to the runs scoring, but Kendall boo booed on a play that most competent catchers make. If we're going to have a catcher who can't hit, I'd prefer that he play stellar defense.
  3. ...and the sucky eye of the home ump. If he calls that a strike (which it was, at least according to Gameday), the inning would've been over. I don't think the pitch was a strike. It was a curve that likely missed low and in.
  4. Giants take a 2-1 lead mid 4 thanks to the sucky defense of Jason Kendall.
  5. Another run...so far Kendall's boo boo has cost 2 runs and counting.
  6. It was a tough hop, but one that Koyie Hill, Rob Bowen, or Geovany Soto probably would've handled. or most catchers for that matter.
  7. Soriano had Vizquel nailed on the throw...and Kendall dropped the ball.
  8. If you're going to have a no-hitting catcher, you'd prefer he make those catches.
