  1. I want Felix to get a chance to work out, but he's got to start showing something soon.
  2. Anyone think we might actually be a better team if Murton comes up to start in left?
  3. The Cowboys enter this draft with three major needs: WR, CB, and a change of pace RB to pair with Marion Barber. Having addressed WR earlier in the draft, the Cowboys must decide between addressing RB or CB with this pick. A trade for Pacman could impact this pick and RB Felix Jones still sitting on the board is tempting as well. But the Cowboys are thin at CB after having lost Jacque Reeves to FA. Also, while Felix Jones would be an ideal change of pace back to pair with Barber, this draft is deep at RB and the Cowboys can likely pick up a good change of pace back later in the draft. So, with the 28th pick of the draft, the Cowboys select Aqib Talib, CB Kansas.
  4. Brignac for Murton might make a lot of sense. He's a better SS prospect than any we have. Theriot isn't the long term answer, and I doubt Cedeno is. Brignac would give us another option within the organization.
  5. Stewart is a good pick there, but I'm not sure the Seahawks would go RB there. If they do, then they would definitely have to cut or trade Alexander. They probably are anyway, but still I'm not sure if Seattle goes RB. But, in this draft they did.
  6. If you raise her a Phillies fan, she'll become bitchy and mean-spirited and have the joy sucked out of life. At least, if you raise her a Pirates fan she'll probably get married before becoming bitchy and mean-spirited.
  7. Well, at least he's not making fun of 4-year-olds, so I guess homeristic, red kool-aid drinking posts is an improvement.
  8. Looks like we need to come to a consensus on the Seahawks pick? Any suggestions? I think they might go with Limas Sweed or Kentwan Balmer.
  9. Excellent! I particularly liked this part.
  10. How about MLB Non-Cubs Discussion
  11. "Dude, it's like this. Sometimes, when you're fishing, you have to use the right lure for the right side of the lake. You'll have one side that's sunny, so that's where you have to use the worms. The other side, in the shade is where sausages work best. So since the pitcher was throwing sausages, Lenny was the right guy to put up there." awesome!
  12. Soriano is not the "main" problem with this team. SS and rotation are much bigger problems.
  13. Dusty Baker hit Lenny Harris in the lead-off spot. Lenny Freaking Harris! Jesus Christ, if anyone can defend that move, I'd love to hear it.
  14. Did George Brett say this?
  15. Stfu you nerd to a guy with 20k posts is a poor start on this board This post makes me nostalgic for Cubs.com. "I swear I'm not a troll"! Isn't that the first thing they teach you in troll school? Love, love, love the pajamas comment At least he didn't say thong.
  16. would have...not would of. Link. And no, we would not have had a championship if he were still here. (subjunctive mood, please.) just stfu this isn't a classroom. Just thought I'd inform you that "of" is a preposition and not a helping verb. It helps your writing appear a bit more educated. The content is bad enough; I thought I would at least help you with the form. I don't need your help. I can handle myself on here. I'm a tough guy. http://www.fstdt.com/funnyimages/uploads/403.jpg

  18. I think coming back to being a major league pitcher after having an aneurysm is a remarkable record.
