I'm not sure it's a bad pick at all. I don't think with the top a team should pick based on need, and McFadden is the wow player in this draft.

I think KC will hold on to the pick and get Dorsey. I doubt the Saints can offer enough for them to give it up. We'll see....

Everything I'm hearing is the Cowboys will go offense with both first rounders and take the best available CB in the second. But, they would be willing to trade pick #28 to a team wanting to get back in the first if they could pick up more picks in the second round. They also like Cason and think they might move up in the second to get him.

Ryan benefits for being the best QB in this draft. Last year, that was Russell. Ryan gets the hype for any team that might need a QB. Unless someone goes crazy and trades up, I don't see Ryan being a top five pick, and he could slide out of the top ten as well.

I think Kiper is on the money with the Cowboys picks provided the draft goes as expected. Roy Philpot of the Ranch Report also says those will be the Cowboys first pick. If Jones goes off the board before 22, all bets are off. Also if Mendenhall slides, the Cowboys would take him at 22.

Since we've reached draft day, I guess we can call this done. It was fun. And if the Cowboys ended up with Thomas, Talib, and Charles, I'd be very happy. I don't think Thomas will make it to 22. According to the Ranch Report, they predict the Cowboys first three picks will be Felix Jones (22), James Hardy (28) and Terrance Wheatley (61). I could probably live with those three as well.
