I think he'll do fine as a cover 2 corner or as a nickel corner. He just doesn't have the speed to play man to man with faster receivers.

He's a ridiculous athlete. Now that he can focus on football fulltime, he has the chance to turn into a real playmaker. Thanks. I guess I just thought we needed a WR. I know they didn't want Manningham and that selecting Doucet or Caldwell could have been a reach. I just don't want to go into 2008 with just Crayton and a gimpy Glenn at WR along with TO. he has the potential to be very very good (not Witten good), but he is still an Aggie so I doubt he is very smart. Probably would have been a 1st round pick next season. I agree though a WR would have been nice. Guess non of them are valued high enough to take in the 2nd round. This is from an Aggies fan on a Cowboys board that I frequent. I'm starting to warm up to the pick, a little. I really like our first rounders, so if this guy can develop into a good blocker, end zone threat TE, I'll be happy. I still think we need another weapon at WR.

I'm trying to find a way to like the Cowboys second rounder, but I can't just yet. Anyone explain to me why we'd trade Fasano and then take a TE in the second round.

Not sure I like Dallas' pick here or not. We took a TE and still haven't addressed WR. Maybe Doucet or Caldwell slips to us in the third, but I doubt it.

I'm curious to what Dallas will do. The receivers I liked are off the board. We could go with Doucet or Caldwell. Personally, I might go with a second RB and take Jamaal Charles.

And the Panthers officially will not have a QB in this draft. With Delhomme in the last year of his contract. And no legitimate backup. I hate my team. and you don't have a first rounder next season to fix the problem with.
