With Brady, they can take a project QB. I heard a lot of scouts were high on this kid.

Dallas gets the Lions fourth rounder this year and a fourth rounder next year.

Maybe they have targeted a 4th rnd WR. Well, they don't want Manningham. Caldwell is still there. They might take one at the top of the fourth. It is interesting.

I'm quite disappointed. I was hoping that the Cowboys would get him. We need a WR...badly. Though that wouldn't have been a bad pick. No WR that we take right now is going to be able to contribute from day 1. My money right now is on the Cowboys taking Will Franklin in the 1st pick in the 4th round. It depends on if they want to risk it with Manningham.

If Manningham is still on the board and Caldwell is gone, it will be telling if the Cowboys pass on him. WR was one of their major needs going into the draft and those two are the only ones I see being able to step in for them this year. Anyone else is a reach. So, if that happens and the Cowboys pass on Manningham, it will tell you there's some serious questions about the kid.

The WR I see the Cowboys taking is Will Franklin out of Missouri. They brought him in for a visit and were really impressed from what I heard. During Senior Bowl week they raved about Doucet as well.

I'm a Michigan fan and i can tell you he is insanely talented, yet he doesn't work very hard and won't go over the middle. If you have a coach who can get in his head he's worth a 3rd rnder. Supposedly Manningham had a meeting set-up with the Cowboys people including Jerry Jones. He skipped the meeting, and when asked about just said he had other things to do. The Cowboys felt that if he couldn't be bothered to meet with him, they weren't going to draft him. Some have said they removed him from the board completely. I also heard other teams had the same concerns and his drop is a result of that.

I'm happy that three WR are still there for the Cowboys to choose from in Manningham, Doucet, and Caldwell. I'd take Doucet simply because I've heard the Cowboys flagged Manningham.

Brennan and Booty may still be there for them in the fourth. Dixon could be a project for them in the fifth. I actually like Booty a lot more than Brennan. I think he's got a chance to be really solid. Either one is a crap shoot, but yeah...I like Booty better too.
