    The pick for the Cowboys comes down to safety or DE. While Dix is still on the board, I think the Cowboys need to improve along the d-line. This may be a reach, but the Cowboys take Kony Ealy, DE Mizzou.

    Good stuff, I assume it's simple MAD that prevents schools from ratting on other schools considering they're chasing the same players. Good analogy. That's definitely the case. Everyone has so much dirt on the other. Also I'm pretty sure 80 percent of that article is about an Ole Miss bag man considering the author. That article made me think of something that happened just this recruiting season. A kid from my alma mater high school who is friends with my nephew was being recruited by two SEC schools. Most of us around here had a preference of which one we wanted him to choose. On the day of his decision, he chose the other. I was talking to a booster of the school we wanted him to choose and kind of lamenting he didn't choose us. The booster (who I've known for a long time),said " yeah- I knew we didn't have a chance. He's driving a Hummer and I didn't have anything to do with it."

    I haven't watched a Cubs victory yet. The only win was the one I forgot to set the DVR for. I tuned in a few minutes late with the Cubs already winning...so unless I decide to turn it off, expect some form of epic meltdown.

    Sucks, but I guess it needed to happen. I'm not an NFL contract or salary cap person, but curious as to how Miles Austin is still on the team. Miles has been cut too, but he's a June 1 cut. The difference is the Cowboys gain roughly 8 million by cutting Ware now. Miles if cut now would save less than a million, but would open up 5.5 million if he's a June 1 cut.

    I plan on bringing the entire family to Chicago for a game this summer (not sure when though), but if any of you season ticket holders have four pretty good seats to unload, let me know.
