While Hoffpauir has been impressive in his 35 major league AB's so far, it is a small sample size. Their minor league numbers are similar, and Hoffpauir has played at an older age throughout his career than Fontenot. I think TT is right. But I don't think we need 5 second basemen on the ML roster. And we don't need three first basemen either.
