    :-k Dunn to Cobs? :) As much as I'd love Dunn, I doubt that will happen with our current OF configuaration. And after the lead-off walk, Gallagher settles down nicely.

    In addition to the run, we also made Lincecum throw 20 pitches. Hopefully, he continues to have to work and leaves this one early.

    With the way Theriot's hit, he's not getting replaced anytime soon. We could use a back-up SS to replace Cedeno with, maybe. Renteria is too expensive and likely wouldn't be happy in that role.

    And the Dbacks get nothing. They've had baserunners all game with nothing to show for it. Frustrating.

    I can't see him helping at all this year. I think the Cubs should start using him out of the pen whereever he is at. Hell use him him one hitter at a time. Pick lefties who have no shot to hit him. Let him start getting successful again and try to build his confidence. Well, if he fixes things, he could move back up quickly. Assuming his problem is just control and not stuff. If he gets it back, it would improve his trade value or allow him to step in for guys we might trade.

    At this point it's too early to tell if the latest comments on Hill are spin or the truth. It could be either. I just hope that whatever Rich has lost, he finds soon. We could use him.

    I wouldn't mind going and getting Fuentes if he doesn't cost much and doesn't prohibit us from moving on a front-line starter.
