I keep reading about going to the local bar for games I can't see at home. Am I missing something? Why does a bar get games that I don't? No. There will be no local bars showing it either. People outside the Chicago area are screwed when it comes to Saturday baseball and the Cubs.

What a completely assine response. To assume Cowherd actually does any research is a mistake. He just spouts off whatever BS he can. Occasionally, he stumble on to a truth, but it's by accident when he does.

Great thanks to Fox I wont be able to watch this game, even though I paid $180 for MLB Extra Innings, it looks like I'll be watching little 3D guys that look the same on Gameday. My understanding is that with this being a 12:05 start time, the game will not be blacked out. Fox controls the 2:55 to 6:00pm central time window, so had the game been a 1:20 start, it would be blacked out, since there'd be considerable overlap. But since the game, in all likelihood, will be over by that time, or might bleed over be a few minutes, the game will not be blacked out. That's been the case with every other 12:05 start we've had on Saturday's before. EI still blacks out all Saturday games that start before 7PM EST.
