    Wasn't Halladay named in his place or did he just take his place starting? Holliday was named to his starting spot, but he was already on the team. They'll still add a player.

    This is terrible news for the Cubs. how so? its one of those arms that st. louis fan was counting on to get them in the race this year. unless they can pry aj burnett and/or tim hudson away (which i doubt because i feel that even with a healthy mulder they needed either one of those guys just to compete with the brewers) it's great news as far as i'm concerned. It's terrible news for the Cubs because Mulder can do more damage to the Cardinals by pitching than he can by not pitching. He's horrible now.
