    And he hasn't been in trouble since. As I posted earlier, Jerry is a very smart man. He realizes you need to talent to win, but at the same time you can't afford to have talent that you have to cut because they are always in trouble. At the same time, if you can rehabilitate those who are cut by other teams like Tank or Pacman, then you can increase the talent on your team without paying the normal costs it takes to get that talent. Dallas has a whole department headed Calvin Hill to help keep players out of trouble. While the Cowboys of the 90's had their share of problems, since Quincy Carter, the Cowboys have done a good job keeping the current members of the team on the straight and narrow, and this includes those with histories from other teams. What's funny is everyone claims the Cowboys are a team of law breakers, but yet no Cowboy in recent years has had a run-in while with the Cowboys.

    Garcia strained his calf last Thursday and had to be carted off the practice field. He's since been spotted walking normally but he hasn't practiced since then and he won't be playing in their first preseason game. I think it will be interesting to see not only how Garcia reacts, but how the other QBs react too. With Favre, Garcia, Griese, Simms, McCown, and rookie Josh Johnson things will be very crowed in TB. I hear the Cowboys are waiting for Simms to be released so they can pick him up and let Johnson go.
