  1. Agreed, where/who is doing this research, what odds making team in Vegas has he been working for. anybody/moron can slap a webpage up these days. got to go to get my webpage up and running
  2. classic, is Creature Features still airing in reruns there in Chicago.
  3. I am now starting to shake, can't be without baseball for this long. When is ST. Can't stand boyz in the hood Basketball or the criminals that play football. bad baseball is better than good basketball. I also agree, give me a championship who cares about the ratings
  4. Wow, just can't believe that people can afford XM radio........keep it up though I have stock in it
  5. I am more worried about the lack of hispanics in hockey or Ecuadorians in Basketball (avg. height 5'4) *L* Baseball is not an inner city game, it is not conducive to small parks, thus Basketball reins. can't see anything racial about it just economics. Maybe MLB should build a training center in downtown Houston
  6. AAAHHH let's see Whitesox in 4 *L*
  7. check the Got Milk add out it is Hilarious at the bottom of the same page
  8. No, he won't enforce the dress code. I am now planning to put a partnership together to buy the Cubs, on a teacher's salary help from some of you I think we can do it. Any takers? If not me how about Bill Murrey (sp)
  9. Great post, I thought that was a pretty darn close depiction.
  10. Jump!! the depressing part for me is that I think we would have gotten spanked as well. I am happy for the Sox and S. Chicago. The best of the NL has stunk up the field for a second year in a row.
  11. I put a ten spot down for the Brewers and Pirates or how about the Ohio river rivalry cinci and Pirates.
  12. why the east? Better baseball towns are Oklahoma City. I see Charlotte like another Florida Marlins , no fans until playoff time. I can see MLB granting Monterrey, Mexico or San Juan one before another in the states.
  13. I believe the roids got him up to a 90 pound weakling...and his fast ball hit 76 mph
  14. show class, accept the ticket (with humble thanks) go and be a gracious cub fan. some of us that live in BFE don't have the opportunity to be near large baseball cities to enjoy such a thing
  15.    Brad Lidge must be a gutless choking dog. I think that's the vernacular. wish I had money down on that, the odds were greater the Pujols got a hit than for Lidge to strike him out. Lidge was due for a bad pitch
  16. No, its not that season until the WS is over.
  17. Not just a Cub fan but a baseball fan, give me bad baseball before good basketball or football.
  18. I understand the scheduling problem. I'd like to see more wiggle room in the schedule to allow MLB to assume that every playoff series will go the maximum number of games plus lose good points how about a few more DBL headers during the year a game (or two) to unfavorable weather conditions or other events. Is it going to happen? Doubtful. For what it's worth, I'm opposed to the notion of building domes into every baseball venue to ensure that mother nature never encroaches upon the game. Why should it be up to any team to earn or not earn an opponent's sleeplessness? Nonsense. White Sox took care of their own business (blech). Angels did, too; it just took them a little longer to do so. good points how about a few more DBL headers during the year, then starting the playoffs a bit early so wiggle room can be incorperated, and so somebody can be Mr. October instead of Mr. November by the time these playoffs are done
  19. get over, Scoccia was right (very classy as well) they should have scored more so they weren't put into that position. To be an ump in that situation, I would love to see any of us call a perfect game. Thank god we aren't like football and have instant replay, the human element makes the game a lot more interesting. At least AJ didn't do a corey and stare at the ball on the ground.
  20. resign right now we can milk this for at least a weeks worth of sell outs. \ Nice going Nomar, we want you back ...and if we don't sign you can we just sign Mia?
  21. Other than the money can you convince me why Millwood or any that were on conteders would want to come to the Cubs? this is for anybody, not just for Hoops
  22. ya, what is there to do after BB. Hockey seems to be a lot more interesting since the rule change but fotball and basketball are poor substitutes for baseball.
  23. Ok, here one...Who is the only Cub to admit he wore a tupe' in a game?
  24. chicago has been underestimated, they weren't the best record in the AL the first half for nothing. If they get there I rooting for them...the underdog or is it under-estimated
