    Danicka was pretty bad last night (great looks) but had a real tough time carrying a tune. who was the least ability to sing. Danicka or Coach (Mike Dikta)

    How about the Mets and the marlins the other day. Mets playing Atlanta and can't draw diddlie squat, a team in the lead for their division. the Marlins, well what can you say, there shouldn't be a baseball team in Florida.

    not a true blue then. We should hope that they win 29 in a row make the wild card and Dusty (as much as I dislike him) proves all of us wrong. That's not being a fan, that's blind loyalty. Anyone can be blindly loyal to a team. It takes a true fan to recognize what's best for a team, and hope for that. so there is a definition now for a fan?? Where is it wikapedia? It isn't blind it is hopeful. I recognize that dusty stinks as a manager. I also recognize we don't live up to the potential any of these guys have. To hope for a win from you favorite team is not to much to ask, is it? I understand how you might feel that way if you aren't a lover of baseball and in comes college football/pro and "boom" you are excited about those teams. My summers revolve around baseball and care little for any other team sport. Grant me my moment of dreaming, non-reality. I enjoy it, along with the other voices in my head. (I should not have said you weren't a true blue though)

    why eyre and howery haven't done bad, admittedly we over-paid but it is the cast of characters around them that have made the pen look bad

    He won't have nearly enough plate appearances this season to be as much of a negative to a team as he has been in the past. so what are you saying Nefie doesn't have enough plate appearances, like Barret, to win the batting title? :roll:

    How is his contract written, does he have a clause that says if dumped he will recieve xxxx amount of money more than his initial fee? Kind of like corporate CEO contracts are written

    Isn't it kind of ridiculous to expect a team to rearrange its personel and finances in that way at the last minute just to appease a baseball practice that even little leaguers don't do? solutions? A. Eliminate DH B. NL get the DH I would rather eliminate

    Well they only wandered in the desert for 40 years. They've basically been suffering since the Babylonian Empire. what are you saying we still have 2800 years before the cubs win a WS?

    But the DH is there and we do play at least three games of the WS in a National league park. Are we to say that a national league team can't find a great power hitter in a trade in the last month and a half to satisfy the DH position?
