  1. Of course, Macias with a hit. He always seems to do that when he gets the rare start. Maybe we should start him every game. :^o
  2. Great inning by Z there. What was that, 5 pitches?
  3. How many pitches did Tomko have that inning?
  4. Great inning by our sweet lineup there. :x
  5. Yay Holla. Glad you're playing everyday. :wall:
  6. Nice inning by Z there. This umpire's strikezone is ridiculously small.
  7. I'm glad Aram could stand and watch to make sure the ball was fair before he decided to run there. :x
  8. Tomko was no where near the strike zone with those 4 pitches to Burnitz.
  9. That's pretty much all we can ask for from him.
  10. Macias looked really comfortable on that catch. :puke:
  11. I don't think so. I think they only lose the DH if the person who was the DH is brought in to play a position on the field. I'm not positive though.
  12. Burnitz with a great play there to keep a run from scoring.

    Murton

Just trade him. He's got no chance of playing everyday under Dusty. Bring in another crappy, I mean scrappy veteran who's marginally better than Holla. Stupid Cubs. :x
  14. I see the umps strikezone is going to be the size of a peanut today. Wonderful.
  15. As if this lineup would be any different had Greenberg not gotten hit in the head. Exactly. Also, why did we trade Jason Dubois for a guy who can't beat Macias into the starting lineup? Why have Gerut on this team and talk about how he has the ability to play CF if he's going to just sit on the bench and watch crappy Macias play in front of him? This organization (mostly Dusty) really infuriates me sometimes.
  16. Murton is 12 for 26 since being called up with a .531 OBP. I'm glad he's sitting on the bench for Holla who's hitting .220 in July. By the way, Holla's OBP is slowing reaching that sub-.300 level. He's at .309 right now. Yeah, that's our starting LF. :wall:
  17. I believe he rolled his ankle. He's probably day to day.
  18. Macias leading off? Murton back on the bench despite being on fire? Dusty needs to go immediately. That's a complete joke.
  19. So if Hairston rolled his ankle yesterday and can't play today, can we expect Burnitz in CF again? An outfield of Murton in LF, Burnitz in CF, and Gerut in RF wouldn't be all that bad today. Probably the best offensive outfield we could put together. That's if Dusty actually plays Murton though. Seriously, how can Dusty not play him after the way he's played and the way Holla has sucked? I know he's Dusty, but come on.
  20. How much longer does Murton have to hit before he takes over Holla's job? The kid is on fire.
  21. Beautiful comeback win by the Cubs there. Awesome slide by Cedeno. Hill definitely deserves another start with his performance tonight. All in all a very good win by the Cubbies!!!
