    That was a pitiful inning. Aram swinging at crap way out of the strikezone, Jock trying to pull a ball 2 feet outside, and then Mabry swinging on a 3-0 count. Perfect examples of why our offense sucks.

    I've got it listed on my Comcast cable MLB EI. Channel 772. It's the Washington broadcast.

    Any chance the Cubs can use ghost runners tonight? That way we won't see wasted outs on bunts. Not that it would matter much.

    Questions are though: a.) is Maddux ready to retire? b.) would he be willing to take the huge pay-cut to be a pitching coach? I'm all for firing Rothschild. Immediately if possible. Fire Clines and Sarge too. Let Maddux be the starting pitcher/pitching coach and bring up Von Joshua to be hitting coach. :D

    Iowa wins 4-1. Aardsma pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for the save. Walrond with a nice game going 6 innings, giving up 5 hits and 1 run. 5 walks though.

    I haven't been able to watch the past week and a half's worth of games, so I don't know what's going on other than we're losing. Is there a reason why Dusty has sat Murton a couple times the past week?

    Once again, I won't be able to watch this game today and I'm not to broken up about it after looking at the Cubs' lineup. :x

    Why would he need to play 2b? We've already got 6 people on the team who can do that. He can play 1b and the corner outfields which would be useful.

    Mr. All-World Pujols goes deep again for the Cards. That's either 18 or 19 for him on the season. He's near 50 RBI's already too. :shock: Cards leading 2-0 in the 2nd inning.
