    We've fallen back into 3rd place with the victory last night, combined with a Tampa Bay Loss. We're now a half-game back of Tampa Bay and 3 games back of KC for the first pick.

    Would be nicer if Dusty would have sense to realize we're 30 games under .500 and it might be nice to play some of the younger position players to see if they have any worth for next year's team.

    Ridiculous. This organization is clueless. How about letting your star player fully heal since this season is already down the drain? You know the same thing is going to happen with Z. The Cubs are going to let him pitch this season instead of shutting him down.

    I'm torn. I want Hill to continue to pitch well (this will be the first night I've seen him pitch in quite a while), but I also want that #1 draft pick next year. Hopefully Duke does what he usually does to the Cubs and shuts us out. 1-0 Pirates.

    I think today sets up perfectly for Cain to do it. He's already 3 and 2/3 in with a perfect game. The wind is blowing in, the Cubs' offense sucks, and he's already proven that he can dominate the Cubs.
