Steve Stone is an no-doubt idiot when it comes to baseball roster decisions and evaluation. Yeah, he needs to stick to broadcasting. The more he talks about "what he'd do", the more I want to stick cotton in my ears. He has no idea what he's talking about.
Stone is saying we shouldn't trade Jones because he's there as insurance for Floyd being hurt. We have to have that big LH bat in the lineup. First of all, when did Jones become a big LH bat? Secondly, Stone should never, ever become a GM. Now he's saying Pie needs to be put in the leadoff spot in the lineup when he goes back down to the minors because he's got speed and he should be in that spot. What an idiot.
Miller has a 10.54 ERA and a 2.20 WHIP. It's pretty tough to win games when you know you have to score 7-8 runs a game to even have a chance. He needs to go immediately.
yeah i think a lot of us agree that this would be best, unfortunately the Marlins and Yankees don't agree I bet the Yankees might agree, especially with their pitching in shambles right now. yeah and Z would fix that how? Do you really think Z is going to continue sucking? He's been terrible pretty much every April of his career. He's always been a slow starter.

the cubs aren't worth it I look at it this way. The Cubs aren't going to be good this year, but the rest of the division isn't going to be very good either so the Cubs have a chance. But if they don't win and don't make the playoffs, I won't be upset because I know that this is the last year of the devil Tribune Company owning this team, and I look for better things in the future. So if they do well this year, that's great, but if they don't, I don't really care. Bring on 2008 and beyond!
And then Varitek makes it back ^ 4 to give the Sox a 4-3 lead. Wow. I don't even know what to say. I'm in shock after watching that. How come the Cubs never doing anything like that? or win games for that matter?
Well, at least the Cards offense has been bad so far this year so we have at least a chance in this game. With that being said, Miller will probably give the Cards offense the kickstart it needs and we'll probably get killed.
Guzman was only scheduled to pitch about 60 pitches, so he's done after 3. His final line: 3 IP, 6 hits, 5 ERs, 2 BBs, 0 Ks, 54 pitches, 34 strikes Not what you'd like to see from the guy who's fighting to take over the 5th spot in the rotation.
