  1. Wow. Great play by Phillips. Bastard.
  2. Sheets out with "left hamstring tightness." Doesn't sound too bad.
  3. Jacque almost completely missed that ball.
  4. Nice DP. One more please.
  5. I don't really blame him for this outing. Going on 3-days rest is usually a bad thing, no matter who the pitcher is. History has shown this. It was a stupid move by Lou for doing it. I'm guessing Lilly will be just as bad tomorrow.
  6. So... What else is on TV tonight?
  7. Harang is gonna destroy us tonight.
  8. Glad to see we decided to throw Z on 3-days rest. Really working out well for us so far. :x
  9. I just can't see a way the Astros win tonight. I know anyone can win on any given night, but the odds are definitely stacked against them. Let's just hope we win tonight so it won't matter.
  10. The workaround? Yeah, what is the workaround? Me thinks he won't share... Its the old saying, "I know something you don't know." sorry, didn't mean to get everyone excited. I figured most people already knew about it anyway. Yeah, the workaround is just opening a bunch of new windows (tabs didn't work this year). Not that exciting, but it definitely works.
  11. I'll definitely be hanging around the VWR on Sunday morning. Hopefully, the workaround still works. I would love to see a Cubs' playoff game. If the Cubs make it to the playoffs, and I don't get tickets, I'll still probably head over to Wrigley and hang out on Waveland.
  12. Ronnie is great. Gotta love that he just starts yelling uncontrollably whenever something good happens.
  13. Did you find it online? If so, I have to hear this. just go to mlb.com, click mlb.tv then the "listen" tab, and go forward to around 3:25 into the recording It's not working for me. Every time I try to listen it asks for my username and password for mlb audio.
  14. It was Jaqcue throwing the helmet. He took his and DeRosa's helmet and just hurled them in the aird. It was great. And I agree, what an amazing atmosphere in the 9th. Best game I've been to probably ever. Definitely glad I decided to go. After I saw that ball get away from Hopper on Ramirez's line drive, I went absolutely nuts. I have no voice right now. My voice is extremely hoarse at this point. When I got home my roommate asked me "how was the game" and I couldnt make the word "incredible" all the way audible. And yeah, as soon as I saw that ball get by hopper i was jumping around like an idiot screaming "I DONT BELIEVE IT" at the top of my lungs. The amount of soap I dropped tonight was incredible.
  15. You mean triple, but yeah I could imagine. What was it like in the middle innings when nothing was going our way? I can't think of a sharper contrast. Sorry. Meant triple. The middle innings were quite boring. It was good hearing Ronny sing the 7th inning stretch, and I expected the Cubs to score some runs on the Reds' bullpen, but it just never came. There were 4 guys in front of us. 1 guy was a Cubs' fan and the other 3 were Red Sox fans from Boston. The other guys were ready to leave in the 8th, but the Cubs' fan wanted them to stay. They stayed and the one of the Red Sox fans was like "OMG, I've never seen anything like that before!" after Aramis hit the triple. Really fun night. Glad we decided to go.
  16. I'd love to hear Ronny's call after the Aramis triple if anyone can put it up.
  17. It was Jaqcue throwing the helmet. He took his and DeRosa's helmet and just hurled them in the aird. It was great. And I agree, what an amazing atmosphere in the 9th. 18. HOLY CRAP!!! Gotta say I'm very glad I decided to go to this game. The atmosphere at Wrigley after Ramirez hit that homer was crazy. My voice is completely shot. Amazing game.
  19. When Lou made the double switch to put in Soto, he got halfway to the mound, then walked back to the ump to tell him about the switch. The rule states that you have to inform the ump before crossing the baseline. Soto was the next batter for the Cubs, in what would have been the pitcher's spot. Oh. Okay. Remember Lou and the umpire having a conversation after the switch. No way they overturn the game just because of that though. That's crazy talk.
  20. Just got back from the game. Holy crap, what an amazing 9th inning!! What's this about the game being protested? I don't understand what happened. I didn't see anything that warranted the game being protested.
  21. There were a bunch of two-seats available when I bought mine today. I have 2 seats in section 116. I saw about 5 other options with 2 seats available before I settled on these tickets.
  22. I'll be sitting in section 116 tonight. Just bought my tickets.
  23. Awesome. Guess I know what I'll be doing tonight.
  24. Hopefully Michigan puts up a good fight against Penn State. It's going to be interesting to see if Michigan can run against PSU's defense. If not, we're pretty much screwed.
  25. When looking at The Riots' numbers, I fail to see how he's "very good". He's 27 years old in basically his first full season of baseball, putting up offensive numbers that ranks him 20th in the Majors for all SS. I fail to see how that can be considered "very good." And there are a lot of players that are faster than heck. That doesn't make them good.
