  1. Pretty tough to justify benching a $7 million dollar pitcher. Thanks Hendry!
  2. Way to pitch well in a playoff race. Nice work Marquis.
  3. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a Cubs' catcher do that.
  4. Marquis throwing meat pitches out there. He's got nothing today.
  5. Someone needs to post the Izzy RGI picture.
  6. HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Thank you Izzy!!!
  7. Please don't shut down offense. 4 runs is not enough.
  8. Another rat that kills the Cub. There's no question he's going to get an rbi hit right here.
  9. Worst. Trade. Ever. Monroe has been terrible.
  10. Love to see that pitcher come to the plate. Nice work Riot.
  11. That's the Izzy we grew to love.
  12. Aram hit that ball 7,000 feet.
  13. All those long-suffering Cubs' fans would finally get to see a World Series victory. That would be horrible. I hate happiness.
  14. Yeah, that would stink. I wanted the Man too and I wonder if the OF is as bad as Dunn said. I don't remember any Cub OF's complaining about it. I have heard either Pat or Len say that the Cubs are way overdue for a complete resurfacing of the field, however. Really? Then they better do it this off season then. I hope this ownership thing doesn't stop them from doing it. People have mentioned in another thread that the field renovation might be put on hold this offseason because of the team being bought. Hopefully it still goes through as planned.
  15. I see you're already getting out the excuses for when you lose this weekend. Good to start early I guess.
  16. The Houston Astros have 18 runs on 23 hits tonight. That's not a typo.
  17. Aaron Miles in to pitch for the Cards.
