    Meh. I'd rather have Marshall join the starting rotation and have Gorzo replace him in the bullpen, but this makes sense. Marshall definitely isn't stretched out at this point.

    I was actually worried he was going to overpay for an insignificant upgrade, so I'm not all that upset that we didn't add any more. The team has been playing better as of late, and definitely has what it takes to win the NL Central. Just have to get to the playoffs. It's been shown time and time again that the playoffs are a crapshoot. Of course, it would have been fantastic if Hendry had the money to make a significant upgrade, but it doesn't sound like he did, so I have no problem with not adding anything other than the two lefties we got yesterday.

    Hes mashing leftys in the minors if I recall correctly. He's got a .235/.365/.368/.732 line against lefties. Batting .297/.389/.341/.730 against righties.

    We should start a letter writing campaign to stop this from airing. Get Vance behind it. We'd knock that [expletive] out and get NSBB some notoriety. Either that, or we can get Bruce to write an article about how we're sick and tired of hearing about Bartman and just want the poor guy left alone at this point.
