  1. I get really upset whenever the broadcast brings up Palencia’s blown save in Miami earlier in the year because he had the third out and Tucker just kinda jogged for it and made a really appalling effort for a big leaguer, and the Marlins ended up winning from there. Palencia has been butt awful for a couple weeks lately but its not fair to hold that game against him, Tucker blew it singlehandedly being lazy.
  2. “Tucker is lazy even on a good day” and “PCA has negative baseball IQ” don’t need to be mutually exclusive
  3. Tucker continues to be an absolute liability in the outfield. Never did think Ricketts would pay his price in the offseason and don’t think thats a bad thing anymore. Unlikable player
  4. Colin Rea probably isn’t a bad guy but his face makes me angry.
  5. At the end of the day they should end up winning 90 games and everyone seemed to be happy with that as the goal back in January and February, aside from the expectations that 90 would win the Central. Realistically this is a low 80s win team that got extra wins in April and May off what will likely be the best 2 months of both Kelly and PCA’s careers offensively.
  6. Man Hodge used to be good, atleast decent. One injury and now he’s unplayable.
  7. Im going to crash out when I see Santana doing that clown act shorts thing in pinstripes.
  8. “Fly ball pitcher” is just code for “gives up nukes on a regular basis”
  9. Man horrible pitching is so much worse to watch than horrible hitting.
  10. Eh Castro made a catch on a routine fly ball! Way to go lil buddy
  11. I don’t see how its the managers fault that Castro can’t see, or Shaw can’t make a simple pick, or Tucker can’t not throw the ball directly into a runners head but thats just me
  12. Wtf is happening. Can’t even blame any one person tonight. Bad pitching, awful defence from Castro, horrifying at bats from Kelly and Turner, whiff by Shaw on an easy tag, and a terrible (unlucky?) play by Tucker
  13. Bases juiced one out and both times the hitter is a dude who would lose a footrace to the average person off the street
  14. Colin Rea is the kinda guy to see a Nico 3 run jack and decide to immediately turn into a complete disaster
  15. Its getting really old watching Suzuki pout over a called strike that isn’t even close to a ball.
  16. Been teeing off on Boyd from the first batter. I guess the awesome pitching couldn’t go on forever. Oh well.
  17. Irrespective of how hurt he was, he did not deserve a spot in a major league lineup during this multi month stretch
  18. Anybody who is surprised that professional male athletes who grew up being worshipped due to their abilities and in an environment that promotes unquestioned deference to an authority figure (the coach) and largely come from money (atleast in the case of US/Canadian born players) would lean towards or atleast be cool with the Republicans is pretty naive. Doesn’t make it less disappointing obviously.
  19. Good God Danny have you heard of the strike zone? Embarrassing
