I don’t see how its the managers fault that Castro can’t see, or Shaw can’t make a simple pick, or Tucker can’t not throw the ball directly into a runners head but thats just me
Wtf is happening. Can’t even blame any one person tonight. Bad pitching, awful defence from Castro, horrifying at bats from Kelly and Turner, whiff by Shaw on an easy tag, and a terrible (unlucky?) play by Tucker
Anybody who is surprised that professional male athletes who grew up being worshipped due to their abilities and in an environment that promotes unquestioned deference to an authority figure (the coach) and largely come from money (atleast in the case of US/Canadian born players) would lean towards or atleast be cool with the Republicans is pretty naive. Doesn’t make it less disappointing obviously.
I would imagine its not a fatigue thing and more of a “literally anything is better than a combination of 4 weak flyballs and groundouts to 1B” thing. You have to figure they wanted to see some signs of life, anything at all, before giving him some rest and that just never happened.
Pitching is not going to matter if 3 runs is the absolute pinnacle of what the lineup can produce. I feel awful for the team that gives Tucker a contract
Thats the most frustrating part. Dude makes awesome plays, somehow also does the stupidest thing you’ve ever seen on a diamond in your entire life at least once a week. Potentially the dumbest man in MLB today
I feel awful for the fans of whatever poor team signs Tucker long term this offseason. Mind bogglingly awful player. Just so, so bad I can’t even find the words. He sucks the fun out of watching baseball.
Waddya know, another atrocious, limp, AA performance from the top of the lineup coming up tonight. How is Matt Shaw the only MLB level bat on the team 😢
Theres no way literally anybody in Iowa could do worse than Suzuki has in the last month, just give it a shot, I hate watching him attempt to play baseball. And Dansby with two all time horrifyingly awful plays tonight.
