  1. Hopefully Steele comes back full health and produces. He’s more than capable. Rotation with him would be nice. They absolutely need to trade for another SP. not even a question - if they want to go deep into the postseason. Not sure if Peralta would be a crowd pleaser, but early talks with the Mets make it realistic. He’s a solid starter
  2. I agree with @chibears55 - at this point let Jamo ride it out - save the arms for tomorrow and the Milwaukee series
  3. I’d sooner keep Rea than the other two - Boyd had an outlier of a year last season. He's been more than unreliable the starts he’s had this year. Rea has been decent this year, and then Taillon - well 🤷‍♂️
  4. What I find amazing is the fact that Nico is the team leader in batting average with .264 lol Cant wait to see this team really put it all together when others like (Seiya, Bregman, Busch, among others) really start to heat up! Already 29 wins with many injuries and batting woes from some stars, so when they put it all together it should be something to see!
  5. Yeah - it may be time to go for a walk and not watch this horsefeathers unravel
  6. Cabrera doesn’t give me much confidence his last few starts
  7. In other news - FUGGIN Schwarber rocketed his 20th homer. Lol
  8. WTF was with Armstrong’s lack of baseball IQ in that inning?
  9. Cubs will most likely be out of first place by mid week or sooner at this rate. Doesn’t mean they’ll stay there, but they look like straight horsefeathers right now Bottom line - Brewers develop pitchers and Cubs do not. That part is very clear. Whoever they hired to work with their pitchers or whatever they’re doing is clear that they know what they’re doing. Cubs could take a page from their book 🤷‍♂️
  10. Milwaukee’s turn to go on a couple ten game winning streaks. Cubs looking like they’re about to run the other direction. Tough to watch them at the moment
  11. Whoa whoa whoa!!! Friggin blasphemy just spoken “Happy birthday to the best second baseman to ever grace the position.” I love Nico, but that is just wrong
  12. Gotta love baseball - as quickly as your team goes on a streak is as quickly it can go the other way. ebb and flow I suppose - still hard to see when it’s happening the other way 😏
  13. PCA may do better most at bats if he legitimately did not swing the bat
