    Can’t argue with that - could PCA also be thrown into that mix? 🤷‍♂️ Just a shame how much they’ve regressed since the break. Hoping they can get it back on track at some point - late September early October would be cool

    Whelp - Bears and Vikings is looking much more attractive than this game. Hope the Cubs can get on track, but it’s a rough going last couple games and seems to be trickling into this one

    Good post - You were the one that reminded me to stop and look at it from a different perspective and it is so true. When we follow a team so closely we tend to see their warts/flaws more than other teams. The truth is that this team has done extremely well - especially with losing Steele early on, and other injuries here and there. Thanks for the thought provoking reminder about that - hopefully they can put it all together and make a run deep into October

    PCA is a special talent for sure - he really just needs some more plate discipline I feel and get his confidence and swag back. His fielding is superior and base running ability too. Busch is capable and Horton has been exceptional, so I’m excited like many fans here about the youth this team has. Like many, I tend to be overly critical because when you follow a team closely it’s easy to get wrapped up in the negative side of things. A guy in here called me on that and it makes sense for sure. This team has been inconsistent at times, but what they have done this year as a whole is a job well done. Hopefully some of those others can catch their groove again and get a streak in late September early October! 👍💪

    People say Kyle Tucker, PCA, Seiya etc, but as far as the MVP on this team it has been Nico Hoerner for me. Those others are solid players and I’m glad they’re Cubs, but Nico has been the steady and consistent on this team. As a hitter and a fielder. Atta man Nico 👍💪

    This post just makes sense - you Stratos, are a logical and sensible person. Some others on here…..not so much. They prefer the torture of watching Ben Brown nosedive the team into oblivion

    Obnoxious you say? Ben Brown hasn’t done anything besides shown that he’s not a MLB pitcher YET. Not saying he couldn’t develop, but this season my friend, he hasn’t shown anything besides being a liability. If that’s obnoxious of me - well 🤷‍♂️ I didn’t call him names and cut him down. THAT would be obnoxious. I’m simply stating an opinion. If you’re that offended by my comments, then not sure what to tell you guy

    Can’t argue that - their bats were nonexistent tonight, but Brown and Pomeranz combo is a recipe for disaster. NOT hindsight and all - because Brown has been a liability nearly all season

    How is that guy still in the Show?? How many times does he have to show Counsell and the gang that he sucks? Where is my buddy that says “he’s learning the ropes?” lol They give him enough rope to hang himself every single time. Pomeranz giving up that homer was rough, but due to Brown’s runners it’s now a three to one game. Guy must have something on the Cubs to still be up and working a “bulk role” joke
