  1. I’m done tonight - they’re an absolute embarrassment
  2. My take on Milwaukee: Extremely well coached (you see it in their decision making and discipline), they are extremely aggressive on the base paths, and play small ball better than any team in the league. They generate quite a few runs due to their aggressive play too. They have a front office that is great at seeking and developing players with 1/2 the payroll (I don’t have exact numbers, but I know the Cubs have a much higher payroll). Just a solid organization. I frickin hate it so much, but I look at the things I see. 🤷‍♂️
  3. You know what - at this point, forget Bregman. Nearly 50 games into the year and he’s been a nonfactor.
  4. When you’re slumping, you have to do something different. I’m assuming this one is a loss as well. It’s baseball, so it can turn around in one inning, but Milwaukee is playing like we were a couple weeks ago, and we are playing like straight horsefeathers. we shall see - Go Cubs!
  5. Call me crazy, but what’s wrong with playing a little small ball to move runners and get guys across? They rely on hitting for slug too much, and it’s equivalent to NBA teams like Boston, living and dying by the three. Just do some different horsefeathers instead of the same old same old
  6. Is that 7.5 over/under for just the Brewers runs, or combined? 🤦‍♂️
  7. Just bad vibes all around this game - leaving two on to start the game, Shota off, no hits through three innings….,just bad juju all around this team at the moment
  8. A loss like that causes fans to be pissy - I sure as hell was after the loss 🤷‍♂️
  9. I think he got pushed to Tuesday. Sproat looks to be the starter - according to ESPN
  10. I said the exact same thing last year. He’s done some good things this season. I’m definitely a critic of his, but he’s been managing pretty well this year so far in my opinion. He made some rough calls today, but he can’t be faulted for them stranding all those runners in scoring position. To your point, it’s hard to argue that maybe the Cubs chose the wrong manager from Milwaukee. Pat Murphy becomes Manager of the year soon as Counsell departs. 🤷‍♂️
  11. I can’t stand Vargas - him and his unbuttoned, classless demeanor
  12. Seriously - anyone have the stats on how many backwards Ks Seiya has this year? Minded he missed the first 11-12 games. Good lord man
  13. That throw from PCA literally stopped a rally - well done sir
  14. Fedde having 60 pitches by 1 2/3 was probably not on his bingo card
  15. I see they changed the starters for tomorrow. Sproat tomorrow, Miz Tuesday, and Harrison Wednesday
  16. Hopefully Steele comes back full health and produces. He’s more than capable. Rotation with him would be nice. They absolutely need to trade for another SP. not even a question - if they want to go deep into the postseason. Not sure if Peralta would be a crowd pleaser, but early talks with the Mets make it realistic. He’s a solid starter
  17. I agree with @chibears55 - at this point let Jamo ride it out - save the arms for tomorrow and the Milwaukee series
  18. I’d sooner keep Rea than the other two - Boyd had an outlier of a year last season. He's been more than unreliable the starts he’s had this year. Rea has been decent this year, and then Taillon - well 🤷‍♂️
