I feel this right now too…….😑 I don’t say “wasted season”, but I understand this guy’s frustration.

That is exactly my point! They have zero clutch pitching. Bullpen is absolutely fuckin terrible, and will most likely not improve…..could actually get worse. Even if they make the postseason……who are they beating in a series with this pitching staff? At some point, people have to just be realistic. COULD they win a series? Sure - but the data from their pitching staff that I’m seeing says otherwise.

Yeah……so, for me and what I’m seeing…..I believe the home field is going to pass us by day by day (I know only a half game behind after today). I don’t see the bullpen improving whatsoever. Literally nobody you can trust, our starting pitching has improved since the break, but still extremely inconsistent, and these other teams (Phillies, Arizona, and SD) are gaining ground. At this point, I’m just concerned about making the postseason. Yet even IF they do, I don’t see a trip to the NLDS with this team.

I tend to agree with that - plus, besides Sale, their other pitchers can be hit much easier than Phillies Starters

I know he’s a young buck, and I’m glad he’s a Cub, but lately Pedro has been coming back to reality of the Big Leagues. With that said, I believe he’s going to be one heck of a player with even more development. Glad he’s still a Cub after this past trade deadline

Phillies up 2-0 Nola all a sudden lately looks like a stud again.

That game should not have been that intense and I’m sure I speak for the majority of the fans watching that game. It was brutal to watch from our bullpen yet again, but thanks to Rolison and getting us out and sticky situations and Zeferjahn doing his thing. Big win and keep that distance between us in Philly.

Yep, this definitely feels like a loss. Just has that feel I don’t think eight runs is gonna be enough by the end of it.

Braves pitcher had a stellar inning I see lol - four walks, two runs earned, and if it weren’t for Acuna’s great catch with bases loaded, it would be 4/5-0 in the first inning Braves of course, had bases loaded no outs and nothing to show for it
