    They just showed some highlights on espn2. That first Gordon three was crazy. From the freethrow extended area, off the glass. It was beautiful.

    They just showed a video of what happened on espn. He walked off with the assistance of some guy. It didn't look that serious but then again, Shaq is huge so that sort of pressure put on his knee like that probably isn't good.

    Who do you think they'll beat besides Charlotte. That's the 3 best teams in the conference aside from Detroit, and playing all 3 in 4 days is a daunting task. I really think that the Bulls can beat pretty much any team in the league on any given night. That's true of any team outside of the 10 win trifecta. Beating Miami, Cleveland, and Washington on it's own isn't a huge deal, but all 3 in 4 nights? IMO it'll be tough for them to pull one out. I don't really see how playing them on back to back to back nights will change anything. I think that they can take Cleveland and Washington. Miami will be though.

    I'll give you some more names: Zambrano, Prior, Wellemeyer, Leicester, Wuertz, Beltran, Mitre. Those are all players that came through the system in the last 3-4 years that played a major part in the season. There are even more if you include players like Juan Cruz that we traded away. Mitre only got a few starts but he will get more this season. Beltran got some and then was a major part of the deal for Garciaparra. That's a pretty good amount of talent to come through any team. The Cubs are different from the Devil Rays because they don't have to rely on their farm system as much due to the higher payroll. Yet, at the same time, prospects are used in trades to acquire more experienced players. There are more ways than just playing time for a farm system to improve a team.

    Yeah, that's some good stuff. Thanks again for the work that you guys put in. You may not hear it enough but it is definitely evident in the growth that this site has seen in the last two years.
