  1. Sauce-drunk indeed! I had wings for dinner tonight! 😄
  2. "1908" was part of his previous username before he changed it to Jason Ross. He is indeed a teacher, a genuinely good dude, and a knowledgable baseball fan. You can learn a lot from him. Heck, a lot of what he delves into is too much for my punch drunk brain to fully grasp. I know he welcomed you to the forum when others were busting your balls a little too much, and in all the years I've read his posts, he's always been polite and respectful. Trust me on that. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding? I am confident that it was never his intention to offend you.
  3. I think you have him confused for someone else, mate. I am familiar with Jason back to his 1908 days on the PSD Cubs forum. I have never known him to be anything less than respectful to everyone.
  4. This got a snort laugh out of me. 😆
  5. Kane wants 500 tonight.
  6. Could I interest you in a goalie who can chip in offensively?
  7. I can't be the only one thankful the Cubs stayed away from that Cease deal.
  8. If you want to use Spanish diacritics and you have a MacBook you can hold the letter down and the diacritics menu will pop up. If you type Báez, just hold down on the "a" key. I'm a stickler for using the correct spelling of names because my own is so frequently misspelled or misprounced, so I will use that frequently.
  9. I still expect that someday I'll wake up and realize I was dreaming this.
  10. NJ will need to find a way to unload Hamilton. They’ll still have 23.5 million tied up in just three defensemen when Quinn hits the open market, if he does.
  11. With Bedard out, it's time we address the fact that Nazar hasn't scored a goal since October. He's still actively impacting the game, but dude has been ice cold with the twig for nearly two months now.
  12. I sincerely hope you change your mind and decide to stay. You seem like a good dude. You certainly love baseball and the Cubs. You have a unique mind, that's for sure, but I can appreciate that.
  13. Quinn to NJ is far from a lock. They would need to do some major cap crunching to accommodate him.
  14. Hughes' current contract expires after next season, giving the Wild a year and a half to work out an extension. If he reaches free agency, Davidson needs to be ready to open up the checkbook.
  15. Bedard will not play tomorrow night.
  16. He seems fun and harmless.
  17. Women dig longevity!
  18. That’s a huge trade for both sides!
  19. He isn’t.
  20. Big trade news. Edmonton receives: Tristan Jarry, Sam Poulin Pittsburgh receives: Stuart Skinner, Brett Kulak, 2029 2nd round pick.
  21. His decision may have just been his preference to stay with the Tigers rather than anything the Cubs didn't do.
  22. Until this season, I viewed Crevier as the odd man out among the young defensemen in the system. He's not only changed my opinion, but he's become one of my favorite players on the team.
  23. He’s #1 on my off-season wish list.
  24. Tradition around here is the new guy sends a Venmo in the amount of the number of total runs scored by the Cubs in the most recent season to the first five people who explain said tradition to them.
