  1. Curious to know why you didn’t like Wetherholt.
  2. Efficient.
  3. I'm buying that they're a WC contender. They've been competitive in all 7 games so far. They have good goaltending. Nazar is turning into a real two-way gem. Bedard is playing with more confidence than he ever has. They're playing with heart. The Hawks are as good as the Kings or Blues, both playoff teams last season. I think they ultimately miss, but they show that they are surely playoff contenders next season. Utah will get in this season. Blues will miss.
  4. These first seven games is the most fun I've had watching the Hawks since Kane's Hart trophy season.
  5. Even conceding the no goal call, which was wrong, the penalty on Bedard was weak and cost the Hawks the last two minutes of regulation.
  6. The biggest takeaway for me so far is that they've been competitive in every game.
  7. Really fun game to be at! I got to enjoy most of the 3rd with extra leg room after all of the Blues fans left.
  8. Jed needs to stop being so milquetoast in his statements. “We’ll certainly be having those conversations” sounds like even he doesn’t believe he has the ability to negotiate a contract. He undermines his own credibility talking like that.
  9. You’ll be ready to cut ties with Moody in a few weeks. Trust me.
  10. First win of the season! Kaiser and Knight were both outstanding tonight.
  11. Yea, I thought the same.
  12. Celebrating an opponent’s loss is always a bad look.
  13. I was good with the Brewers winning the WS for two reasons: 1. I know some good people who are loyal Brewers fans and 2. It subsequently pressures the Cubs to raise expectations in 2026. Not after that pathetic “L” flag nonsense, though. Proof that you can win and still be classless losers.
  14. Dickinson is back on the ice today. Skating with Foligno and Reichel. Knight will be in goal tonight versus Utah.
  15. The old school fan in me absolutely hates when a clean open-ice hit results in an immediate fight, but credit to Crevier for being the one to jump in.
  16. I’m good with that. I like Blashill so far. Team showed some heart against Boston.
  17. Dickinson is out tonight. Reichel in. Levshunov is a healthy scratch.
  18. Yea, I’m not rooting for the Dodgers unless they’re playing the Cardinals, in which case go big blue.
  19. Aramis’ two HR in game 3 of the NLCS had me believing. 🥲
  20. Rinzel has made some mistakes — chalk it up to inexperience — but man he looks good. It’s clear he’s already putting it together. We’ve got a stud on our hands.
  21. WANTED: Someone capable of winning a face-off.
  22. Post-season games are not easy wins. It’s butthole clinching time from here on out.
  23. I wasn’t in the game thread and I’m sure it’s already been discussed ad nauseam but I’m fairly confident saying I believe Taillon and Kelly were the only two that could see where the ball was. Busch had no idea. Taillon got out of the way to allow his infielders to make the play on it, which he should. Kelly could track it but he had the most difficult play on it coming forward that far into the infield. That left Nico, who was unable to track it until it was too late.
  24. It’s allowed under the “I’m all-time pitcher” rule.
