    Those small hits of nostalgia are my comfort in this stressful world. If it ever gets so bad that I no longer want to leave the house, just set me up with TV and movies from the 80s and 90s and an endless supply of old card packs to open. I'll be just fine.

    I was implying that Nix has been good, because he has. The Bears weren't reaching on him at #1. Only Daniels and Maye would have been in that conversation. But, if we're putting them in tiers based on where they are right now, it's this: Tier 1: Daniels and Maye Tier 2: Williams and Nix Tier 3: Penix Tier 4: McCarthy

    Slaggert was just activated. They've also been rolling with 11 forwards and 7 defensemen, which is working.

    And that concludes the sad end to Reichel’s Blackhawks career. At one time, I had high hopes for him. Speed is certainly there, but the hockey sense always seemed to be lacking. I hope he finds some success with Vancouver.

    That was a welcomed blast of nostalgia for me. Colorado will also wear the Nordiques throwbacks against the Canadiens, which will be worth tuning in for.

    I love Dach in the right role, which isn’t with Bedard, so happy to see him slotted back in where he should be in the bottom 6. Reichel has been good recently. Maybe it’s a trade audition or maybe he’s found some favor with the new coaching staff. 11/7 has worked, so may as well keep rolling with it.

    I really don't think they're a playoff team... yet. They should remain in the WC conversation beyond the Olympic break though.
