  2. I could be misremembering this, but I thought I remember Rossi being the first ever Italian player to play in a league other than serie a. Yeah, you're definitely misremembering that. And many others. Wow, I really whiffed on that one. Zola, jeez. Maybe, it was their 2006 team that was entirely made up of Serie A players.

  4. BHAHAHAHAHA
  5. I liked the determination that was shown in the second half, but our defense still scares the [expletive] out of me. If Bornstein gets any burn in SA we better be up or down by 3. He's awful.
  6. Milton Bradley: http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/05/ex-cub-bradley-says-he-battled-suicidal-thoughts.html
  7. Sorry. Edited now.
  8. I already put this in the graveyard that is the fantasy sports forum but this is mostly for the regulars in the Soccer thread. Yahoo! World Cup 2010 pick'em group: League ID: 10489 password: cubs There are three intervals of picks, but you can choose the results starting now. *Interval 1: first half of group stage *Interval 2: second half of group stage *Knockout: self-explanatory Scoring is done similarly to a March Madness bracket.

  10. If Castro had one-hopped that throw, it would have been an incredible play.
  11. Don't forget Hawk Harrleson too.
  12. Lotta dough for a 28 year old.
  13. This, of course, is the right decision. But it also shows the complete lack of foresight with Piniella and Hendry. Bumbling idiots, I tell ya.
  14. I can't tell your voices apart.
  15. Am I too optimistic in thinking that Ballack's injury helps the US defeat Germany (1D v. 2C) in the round of 16?
  16. Ballack out of the World Cup because of a ankle injury. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/world-cup/story/_/id/787899/ce/uk/?cc=5901&ver=us
  17. I'm obviously a Chelsea fan but I wouldn't have minded in the least if Pompey had won the cup today. Their supporters, players, staff, etc. don't deserve what has happened to them. Winning the cup would've at least given them some happiness during an otherwise horrendous season.
  18. Clever ESPN ad starring Jozy.
  19. Except the team has nothing to do with this. The should buy a billboard.
