    He's not the only one. IIRC both Yankees and Red Sox ownership have bought small chunks of ownership of a couple teams in Europe. I've never heard that about the Yankees, but John Henry from the Red Sox owns a huge piece of Liverpool FC. The Glazer family (TB Bucs) owns the majority of Manchester United.

    Overly educated? What the hell does that mean? More anti-intellectual garbage from "baseball men"? I'd hope that a GM of our team held an advanced degree or at least a bachelor's degree (in finance, business, economics, etc.) from a top tier university.

    I don't think the Kenney hate from the media is new. He's been somebody that has been targeted for sometime. The was a story, possibly last season, that Kenney would bring his buddies into the Cubs' clubhouse and have players take pictures and get autographs from the players. Obviously, the Greek priest ridiculousness from the playoff run a few years ago has been lampooned plenty too.
