    The Nico deal surprises me a bit. I thought they’d let him go next year via free agency and then just let Shaw slide into second base for five years plus. He is much much much cheaper.

    It’s nice - the entire infield plus CF is set. We will get to see the same guys for a long time.

    How can you not like Palencia? That guy wants the ball. Hopefully the Americans blow it open early and he is not needed.

    This is good news. From my research when they call it a strain it’s usually 1-3 weeks recovery.

    The fact that he had a knee brace on coming off the plane is not great. Fingers crossed on the MRI news.

    If anything Happ is underrated. Good D and consistent O. He has a WTF moment every once in a while in the field but so does PCA who might be the best D player in baseball. Who has a better WAR in left field over the last three years?
