    The issue is that relievers are more sporadic than starters. Just because a guy is lights out this year doesn’t mean he replaces that. Has Thielbar’s velocity gone up?

    I did not understand this particular choice in this situation either. But you can see why Craig wants to get him into, or at least attempt to get him into the circle of trust. He has great raw stuff.

    Why didn’t he let Soroka close it out? He looked MUCH better in his second inning versus his first.

    I realize it’s the Pirates but Jameson looks great so far.

    And his OPS is about to pass PCA’s. At one point in June they were 375 points different.
