    Seriously 😐 if we had said we would have this many pitching injuries during the first half + we would be the worst offense in baseball for 35 games - who would have singed up for 12 games over?!

    Yes good points. Maybe I am just hopeful he comes out pitching great and challenges the plan a bit.

    I’m skeptical about proclaiming JS will only be in the bullpen. If he comes out and pitches well and they can gradually get him more innings, why not let him start? I get it there is not that much time to do that - but the thing this team sorely needs is top of the rotation pitchers for the playoffs. We don’t really have that guy who you throw out there as your 1 (and even your 2).
