This pitcher really sucks. His underlying metrics have always sucked but we keep putting him out there.

Let’s not give up on Palencia. He was out a long time and our manager inexplicably put him into high leverage spots way too early.

The pitching staff - the majority of it - sux right now. I don’t see how we beat teams in October who will have better ones.

On the season, the Phillies are 51-30 against teams under .500 and 27-30 against teams .500 or better. Their September schedule is tough. Let’s see what happens.
  6. BKHoo
If they sweep the Brewers (a big if) then I maintain hope for the division. Anything else and it’s done in my mind.

Boyd has not earned much trust lately.
  8. BKHoo
Yep we have outscored our opponents by 43 runs in our last eight games and have gone 4-4. Just. Weird.
  9. BKHoo
    And only 16-12 in August.
  10. BKHoo
    7th inning?
  11. BKHoo
That was a BOSS at bat by Nico.
  12. BKHoo
    Holmes doesn’t look good now.
  13. BKHoo
Amaya is not looking good at the plate these days.
  14. BKHoo
I love seeing the OTHER team give up this many bombs!!!
  15. BKHoo
Their starters run laps around ours in a playoff scenario.
  16. BKHoo
If one was redrafting the first round of 2020 PCA is number one and Howard is near the end easily. We righted a wrong with that trade.
  17. BKHoo
San Diego just choked a game away in an unfathomable manner. I can’t believe how lucky the Rays are.
  18. BKHoo
It’s unreal how many HRs we give up.
  19. BKHoo
    He responded.
  20. BKHoo
Can someone tell me how Andrew Vaughan turned into Babe Ruth when he went to the Brewers?!
  21. BKHoo
Palencia does not have control tonight.
  22. BKHoo
Horner’s OPS is down to .677. He is a shell of what he was earlier in the year.
  23. BKHoo
Good job on the RBI single but shouldn’t MB have taken second?
  24. BKHoo
That AB by Ian was a thing of beauty. Let’s hope it portends things to come.
  25. BKHoo
And the Brewers had the go ahead run on third in the 9th inning with zero outs and could not get him home.
