  1. This is getting ridiculous. Every team in the division except the Cubs is going to win today. The division will be over 30 games above 500 - the best start in the NL Central all time by the quarter point.
  2. The Brewers are p—— me off. They are going to sweep the Yankees.
  3. I get it we are winning but WTF is wrong with our medical team? We have pitchers getting further injuries WHILE rehabbing?! How many times has this happened now?
  4. Brewers are the only other good team in the division. The Cards are frauds.
  5. Javier flung his hand a bit before the last pitch. I thought “uh oh” but I guess it was nothing.
  6. Does it feel like Déjà vu with bases loaded and zero outs?!
  7. Guys I have a feeling the division is going to lose a lot of games tonight. Let's get a W Cubs.
  8. Rocker is still more “high-upside young arm” than established frontline starter, but the talent is real. He throws hard, has a wipeout slider when it’s working, and was one of the most dominant college pitchers in years. The issue has been consistency, command, and health. He had Tommy John surgery in 2023 and struggled at times in his first extended MLB action in 2025, posting a 5.74 ERA. This season has been mixed so far. There are signs of improvement — especially with composure and expanding his pitch mix — but he’s still prone to hard contact and short outings. For the today, the expectation should be: They’ll probably see good velocity early. If Rocker’s slider is sharp, he can dominate for stretches. But he can lose the zone and run up pitch counts. Left-handed hitters and patient at-bats are usually the recipe against him. The Cubs should have opportunities by the middle innings if they avoid chasing. He’s the kind of pitcher who can either strike out 8 in six innings or be out by the fourth inning after a couple crooked numbers. Right now, he’s more volatile than reliable.
  9. I'm still perturbed we had to use Palencia yesterday.
  10. How are we winning so much with so many pitching injuries? It's unbelievable, and unsustainable.
  11. Somehow the NL central is 29 games over 500. It’s unbelievable that all teams are > 500 and it’s by far the best division in baseball so far.
  12. They have out homored us this series. That’s weird given the results.
