It’s annoying but perfectly fine to split a 4 game series on the road regardless of the team we are playing I agree but I would have liked to see our staff get off to a much better start or at least get through 6 each game Most of the time the season wouldn’t have even started by April 1st. Take a look at the other #3/#4 starters around the league today. The Cubs will be fine.

Hultzen would have been super exciting a few years ago. Now the Cubs have the #2 and #9 players from the 2011 draft. Baez has performed better so far.

Phillies released Mark Appel today. In a parallel universe, Appel won Rookie of the Year and a Cy Yong for the Cubs while Kris Bryant got released from the minors after flaming out.
