    I was thinking the same thing. Amaya should’ve definitely caught those 2 past balls. What I didn’t like in the Marte game tying homer was that Alzolay through his first pitch slider right down the middle of the plate and the second slider didn’t run in on Marte but instead was down the middle of the plate too. Marte was all over it.

    I love the guy but Hendricks to me just isn’t that guy anymore. We don’t need another Cuas coming out of the bullpen.

    What good would Hendricks provide out of the bullpen? He doesn’t have swing and miss stuff, he doesn’t throw hard, sure he might not walk guys but he’s not a shut down arm you want to rely on coming out of the bullpen holding a 1 or 2 run lead.

    I live in San Diego, went to the first game with my wife, son, brother and his family. Every year I go Petco Park is packed with Cubs fans, it felt strange to not see as many this year. The stadium is nice but there are so many homeless in the area it makes me hate going there.

    Maybe, just maybe Bellinger was a $300M guy from 2017-2019 but it’s mot even close now. He has a bounce back year and all of a sudden his asking price is through the roof. He might get close to $200M.
