    I usually switch off soon after a game, so haven’t watched the interview. Lots of high salary athletes get crapped on for “making bank and not caring about their performances”, but that’s not true at all. Dansby can’t be accused of not caring when he’s hitting poorly. He cares. A lot.

    What the? I am typing something on my computer and not paying attention, look up and it’s 2 outs. Then the 3rd out and then I take another look and Rolison threw 3 pitchers. Wow.

    Baseball is a crazy, crazy sport. You can have two 10 game win streaks, then a 10 game losing streak which was part of a larger form slump, out by almost 10 games in the division and on the cusp of selling, then turn it around with a 13-4 run and right back in the division. And to think there are always calls to lower the games from 162 to 144 games. 162 is literally a best number that MLB have settled on.

    It really was a great day of sport. Cubs win, two penalty shootouts and Brazil winning very late. And about a million jokes about the Axis having their worst day since 1945 are written.

    I almost horsefeathers myself when I saw we had 2 outs when the catch was dropped. I thought we only had 1 out. Phew.
