    The World Cup starts in a week. That will be 5 weeks of having the Cubs games on in the background. Bliss.

    I reckon the players and coaches were getting it from all sides from the fans when they were collecting their horsefeathers and making their way into the clubhouse. There were more looks into the crowd then is typical at the end of the game and then Kevin Alcantara stopped and had a good listen.

    What an absolutely horsefeathers loss and horsefeathers team. That 20-3 run is the only reason they are above .500, which could be gone in 3 days.

    Tie game, but at least Craig Counsell saved Rea’s life by removing him from the game when he did.

    I like a good run down, but surely Swanson could have ran him down and tagged him. Often you see a game of throw to throw when it doesn’t actually make much sense.

    I swear that Bregman’s Baseball IQ is extremely low. Picked off the bases, not challenging when he should multiple times already this year etc.

    Because the fanbase were complaining that the front office doesn’t spend enough money. So the front office said “Yeah…?” and signed Alex Bregman. Shorter answer is: Jed Hoyer sucks.
