  1. Not sure if it’s been answered yet, he hit the baseball right onto his leg and exited the game.
  2. Oh no, we might not be able to trade Ian Happ now. 😞
  3. No. First we’ve got to see if 4th, 3rd, 2nd, starter or opener are more his style.
  4. Happy to hear how special Kyle Tucker is as a hitter. This team needs those special hitters. And now that Jed has been extended, it has pretty much assured us that Kyle Tucker will be on a different team next year.
  5. Ryan Pressly will either become an occasional opener or starting pitcher. He’s been worthless in every other inning he’s been tried in.
  6. Ian, you’ve had your breather… now do something.
  7. The best thing that happened to the Chicago Cubs supporters. The 2016 World Series. The worst thing that has happened to Chicago Cubs supporters wanting a legitimate contender moving forward. The 2016 World Series. The Rickets family are satisfied they’ve given the supporters what they wanted. Now they can be cheap and smaller market than the Brewers.
  8. PCA, you fast as horsefeathers… run to the wall when the ball is hit and then just turn around. Not everything needs to be an over the shoulder catch with speed like his.
  9. So weird when major league hitters as good as Seiya Suzuki go on these funks. How do you just forget how to hit.
  10. Such a fantastically competitive AB, that ends on whatever that was.
  11. Craig Counsell is probably afraid if he gives Seiya a series off, that he won’t know what to do with himself and ends up starting a J-pop group.
  12. I wonder how many other clubs announcer is like Boog where they are still talking a day later about a good play an opposition player made. I get he’s a national guy, but I would like him to be a homer when he’s working Cubs game which is his main job.
  13. Yes. Frelick, Chourio and Yelich over Turner, Brujan and Berti
  14. As someone who came to Baseball just over 10 years ago, I never watched Ryne play but it is hard to not know the impact that he had to the Chicago Cubs and the sport in general. I look forward to reading everyone’s favourite memories.
  15. I am sure it’s getting worked on. Now or at the conclusion of this game.
  16. Damnit, that really sucks. 65 years old is a young age to die at. 😞
  17. This has been a dream start with Matthew Boyd pitching.
  18. Good, good! Now let’s make some trades, Jed.
  19. Never understood why HOF writers try so hard to make a name for themselves and use that platform to do it. You have one opportunity and that’s what you do. That writer knows Ichiro a first ballot hall of famer, so vote accordingly. So ridiculous
