They lost the appeal. “The final of the Conference League is going to be played in Leipzig’s Red Bull Arena. The poster child of multi-club ownership. You don’t see the irony?”, should definitely have formed part of the appeal.

The real positive is the Brewers did struggle a bit against the Reds. Won the series, but that included a comeback win from 8-1 down in Game 1, trailing heading into the 9th in Game 2 before finally losing today’s game. Maybe it means nothing or maybe it means the Brewers are finally regressing a bit.

So this will be the Brewers 14th straight win. Only six weeks ago they were on the start of an 11 game win streak. Crazy.

If MLB want to insist on having this stupid horsefeathers ghost runner rule, then grow some balls and put it in the postseason as well.
