  1. Ridiculous the Brewers are leading MLB with that lineup Who Who Contreras Yelich Who Who Who What’s a Lockridge? Who Pitcher - Who
  2. How do we all suppose Jed’s performance review went before he was extended? I imagine Tom Ricketts said to him, “Jed, you haven’t achieved anything you set out to do”, to which Jed replied mischievously “didn’t I?” to create the impression that he’s been quietly pulling strings to build success for the Cubs.” And Tom reply will reply “no really, you’ve don’t sweet horsefeathers all. You’re always on Marquee talking to Jon and Jim, you’re never on the phone to other teams…” and Jed will cut Tom off mid sentence with a glint in his eye and say “is that so?” Boom. New multi-year extension.
  3. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/rob-manfred-says-mlb-expansion-could-lead-to-geographical-realignment-in-divisions/ar-AA1KJXsH Don’t expand. The new club can have the Cubs license.
  4. Now what will I do for the rest of the day? I know, send a strongly worded email to the Chicago Cubs asking why they extended horsefeathers Jed Hoyer.
  5. Robo umps can’t come quick enough. If not so we can move on from the useless human umpires, then so that little horsefeathers in St Louis loses out on the career he wants in the future. Win-win.
  6. But MLB is heading towards a lockout in 2027, so Jed strategically decided not to add any long-term money. Or something like that.
  7. They lost the appeal. “The final of the Conference League is going to be played in Leipzig’s Red Bull Arena. The poster child of multi-club ownership. You don’t see the irony?”, should definitely have formed part of the appeal.
  8. The real positive is the Brewers did struggle a bit against the Reds. Won the series, but that included a comeback win from 8-1 down in Game 1, trailing heading into the 9th in Game 2 before finally losing today’s game. Maybe it means nothing or maybe it means the Brewers are finally regressing a bit.
  9. Okay. Maybe saying Brown sucks gives him strength. Another K please.
  10. White flagging a tie ball game in the 8th inning is definitely a thing. Not sure why Brown is still in.
  11. The only thing that can save this broadcast now is if Ryan Dempster puts himself in the middle of another baseball story.
  12. I think it was an easy catch to make. But happy to be proven wrong.
