    My prediction for today is they are going to trail 1-0 in the bottom of the 9th, they will have bases loaded with 1 out, Dansby will come in as a PH and hit into a double play to end of the game.

    Remember those goofy Joe Maddon stuff he would do to keep the team loose? One of those was “Embrace the suck.” during a way too long slump. I don’t know why I said any of that. But there is a connection.

    The World Cup starts in a week. That will be 5 weeks of having the Cubs games on in the background. Bliss.

    I reckon the players and coaches were getting it from all sides from the fans when they were collecting their horsefeathers and making their way into the clubhouse. There were more looks into the crowd then is typical at the end of the game and then Kevin Alcantara stopped and had a good listen.

    What an absolutely horsefeathers loss and horsefeathers team. That 20-3 run is the only reason they are above .500, which could be gone in 3 days.
