Okay, I’m sorry. That wasn’t the right thing to say. It was annoying seeing the game delayed like that, being it was the second major international tournament final with a delay like that in 3 years. But I directed my annoyance at the wrong people. I’ll do better with my wording in the future.
-
I wasn’t making light of the crowd troubles that delayed the match. Like the Euro 2020 final at Wembley, it sucked but it was understandable to keep people safe.
-
So not only are decent people punished because thugs caused a delay for 80+ minutes, but they have to be punished a second time with Shakira is performing.

Yes, history made. Couldn’t be happier about Travis Bazzana going 1st overall. -
Good final week before the break. 6-2 run. More of the same in 5 days.
-
Just once I would love a clean 1-2-3 9th with a multi run lead.
-
I don’t know what giving me more enjoyment at the moment. The home run show or the Euro 2024 final.
-
Makes sense. Thanks.
-
And another. So much fun.
-
Ian Happ destroyed that. Damn.
-
What I’ve noticed is that JD will always be the second announcer. Len Kasper, Boog, and whenever Mowens and Cohen have filled in will always be the main announcers. Is there any reason why JD will be relegated to the role of Robin no matter who he is paired with?

It would have been so Cubs if on the final game before the AS break, PCA hits two homers and a fecking wall puts him on the IL.
-
Hopefully Mikolas’ doppelgänger sucks as much as the real thing.
-
It’s a home run orgy today.
-
No one had two PCA and one Nido homer on their bingo card. If you did, buy yourself a lotto ticket and share the wealth…
-
Good thing Gorman sucks.
-
PCA bringing the power.
-
Final game before the AS break. Let’s finish on a high.
-
We are not the farmers anymore.
-
Fantastic. The 9 first inning runs Wesneski gave up is in jeopardy.
-
I would swap a fast as horsefeathers PCA for a slow as horsefeathers PCA that can hit the baseball consistently. Maybe that’s just me though.
-
They are making a comeback.
-
Hopefully the run differential isn’t back to -30 over these next 3 games. Not looking good so far.
-
Wes back out there?
