It’s always been weird how a 1st or 3rd baseman can receive the baseball with a base runner 2 feet away and just hold his hand on the base waiting for the base runner to get to him and still totally miss getting the out. Should be a routine out.

I don’t know if Counsell is removing Steele on 93 pitches because of the bases loaded in that inning, but no two innings are ever the same. I think Justin deserves to start the 7th. I can’t imagine he is going out for the 7th, though.
