    especially after the "well the cubs are right but you can't really tell anything conclusively" challenges that have gone against us of late, this is pretty infuriating. i honestly think the replay rule ought to be "look at the replay and make the call whatever you think it should be regardless of what happened on the field," but that's not the rule we have.

    i've been to 5 already FFS also went to a wedding and on a date for drinks over the weekend yesterday all day i felt like i was on my way back from a trip to vegas or something. i've never looked forward to the work week starting so much. drinks sound pretty risky, you should have gone out for a BYTE

    disagreeing with calling him addy is not an old man thing. I know somebody with a daughter named Addison and the mother is constantly calling her Addy and it is incredibly grating on the ears. Addison Russell is no Addy. he just grasping at straws since "salad" didn't catch on. tree called him addy first. Quit shaking your canes at me. i say cassie and addy and krissy (that one is catching on more slowly but is still the best) because i think horrible nicknames are funny

    fixd DID YOU KNOW: Ross leads Cubs catchers with a .370 wOBA, 2nd only to Bryant for players with 10+ PA. entirely on the back of intentional walks and unintentional intentional walks, don't care at all

    fixd seriously ross is just fine as a backup C the problem is that he's being allowed to regularly face righties because lester needs a personal catcher who might not even be as good at framing as montero anyway so he's facing RHers (not that he hasn't done OK in his opportunities) i agree with that completely. if we had a normal bench and ross was used like a normal crappy backup catcher, i'd have no issue with him at all.
