    ' Stupid [expletive] were trying it in the bleachers last night. Yeah, what the [expletive]? I actually saw it pass behind home plate last night. Is this Tree's fault? i did not participate in the wave and expressed disgust when it reached all the way to me in 417 after starting in the right field bleachers. it made it around several times. not cool.

    at this point, i really think garza is going to end up signing a 1/10 show-me contract after this season, after which he'll either be good next year and demand way more or still be hurt and then who cares. if anyone is dumb enough to offer us something very significant for him at the deadline, i hope we jump at it. but i'll be very surprised if that happens.

    Depends on your definition, but I'm pretty sure we haven't had a starter give up more than 5 runs. I believe it's ER > IP or maybe ER >= IP. That's what I was referring to anyway. i think it is er > ip

    he had absolutely no idea the wall was there. horrifying. doug glanville has been tweeting a bunch today about how the warning track is pretty worthless and that it's really difficult to actually feel it while you are pursuing a flyball, which isn't really something i'd heard before. is this a thing? should we be trying to improve the warning track? maybe it could be made out of quicksand. that would lead to some interesting strategic considerations.
