    im afraid to ask, but how old is your kid now? He's 11, will be 12 6/27. Loves the Cubs, wears 23. . . . . until Bryant's number has been determined. It's really cool seeing him take such an interest in a player. He's up to speed on all his minor league accomplishments and the controversies surround his spring success and impending call-up. Friday night, he kept his eyes on Bryant for 3 hours. Very cool to watch. it is weird to find out that i am 1000 years old but this is awesome regardless.

    Hit in the wrist by a pitch. ugh After watching the replay (and Olt's reaction), I thought there was no way it wasn't broken, so the negative x-rays were a welcome surprise. i thought the same initially, but the way he's looking at his hand makes it seem like maybe it hit on the soft side of his hand, away from his thumb. that'd still hurt a lot (i assume) but not necessarily smash anything.
